Well, it's been a couple years since the last time I asked... I see the TCS 4.0 rules here; that's the right version to use? (That is, 4.0 is newer than the 4.10a rules available a couple of years ago? I see that the copyright date on them is 2009, so that's a good sign; it's just that the version number is weird.)

IIUC, the 4.10a numbering was only for the play test rules and that once declaired finished, they reset the number back to 4.0.

I could easily be wrong, but they're the ones I printed out for the three TCS games I ordered from their recent sale I'm reading them and getting very interested in the system.

That is right. 4.0 is the current version of the rules.

All the previous rules that were 4.xx were for the playtest versions of the rules.
