Hey guys,

I am trying to learn some really heavy games and wanted to try to learn through reading the rules then playing on BSW. Can you guys give me maybe 2 or 3 Heavy games that I can learn and purchase by playing on BSW?

Looking at their list, none of their games are what I'd call "heavy", I suppose Funkenschlag and Imperial *could* be considered heavy considering their competition, but in the grand scheme of things, all of the games in their list -at least those I know- are relatively light (Well, I heard that Doppelkopf has some depth, but I never played it myself so I can't quite confirm that).

The above 2, and I would also add Princes of Florence for its meaty goodness.

Is Caylus still on BSW? That'd be another one, although I still wouldn't call it "really heavy". It's got some meat to it, though.

Imperial is heavier than Caylus in my opinion.

Yes, Caylus is still on BSW. I'd say that Imperial, Funkenschlag, Caylus, and Princes are easily the 4 heaviest games there. (Good luck getting up a game of Princes...I hardly ever see it played.)

the heaviest games on BSW in my opinion are

Powergrid
caylus
prince of florence(i would love to play this game-played it a couple of times but its hard to get people not a lot of people play it - i think the reason is that most people like to play 2 or 3 players and prince of Florence you cant play two and in three its not much fun much better at 4 or 5).
pillars of the earth(also one of my favorites - a great game).
imperial
Notre dame(not as heavy as the others but still a good and fun strategic game).

A Castle for All Seasons is another game on the heavier side in BSW.

Caylus would probably be the easiest to get games for of all those mentioned

Calyus, Imperial and Power Grid are likely the heaviest.

This link has all of our town's game rooms, but most important to you is all the multiplayers games in BSW are there (this includes games now off BSW): http://www.emeraldcity41.net/ECInfo/Rooms.aspx
