For those of you currently traveling time, what did you read in July 2035? Since I retired a wealthy man (after I invented the first workable time machine in 2021, of course), I’ve had a lot of available reading time. I managed to get through fifteen books this month (my eyesight is failing a bit), but here are some of the highlights.

The Chit Chat Collection: The First 35 Years, edited by Scott Firestone V – I was eager to get to this volume, to see if my own contributions were highlighted. Sadly, I only merited a footnote on page 74 where someone mentioned I was "occasionally humorous.” That’s something, I suppose. The highlights included PDClose’s blistering analysis on the sad decline of bird pornography, Verkisto’s riotous experiments trying to eat Pacific Sea Worms with Tabasco, and MGBM’s poignant reports from his management of a duck sanctuary on the outskirts of Lisbon.

OK, So I Screwed Up Star Wars. What the Hell Do You Want Me to Do About It Now?! by George Lucas – This is an often-bitter follow-up to his previous book: I’ll Punch the Next Guy Who Says I Screwed Up Star Wars. One of the few humorous stories relates the incident where he didn’t let the wookie win.

Madam President: A Celebration – This is a beautiful coffee table book covering the administration of our first female president - Malia Obama – from 2029 – 2033.

It's fun, it's healthy, it's good exercise. The kids will just love it. And we put a little sand inside to make the experience more pleasant.

I read How to Suck at Photoshop: A Old Man's Guide to Primitive Photo Editing Software by Jonathan Crummett.

Not a bad read but you can tell that the author is just losing his mind.

I was reading Og's latest funny scroll.

Og says that buildings were actually built by men, not Gods. And that the metal wagons used to move without oxen. There were balls of glass that made light without fire.

Og's a crazy one. Says all this happened before "The Big Boom".

Crazy Og.

I was reading Nanites: Holism or the human crutch?. I also downloaded the feed on Tiffany's latest book, but hadn't read it yet. I was working through the BGG chronicles and trying to learn more about how the community became a governing body. I also was looking through the action vids of the island takeover replay arrrh, but all the 4d renditions made my head a little fuzzy. Who was swinging the camera around so much?

That's a more likely scenario for 2035.

I'm pretty sure that the best selling book in 2035 will be J.K Rowling's latest Harry Potter book: Harry Potter and the Short Skirts, in which Harry, now potions professor at Hogwarts, spends time using his brews to bed underage girls.
