Hi gang,

I'm looking for 5 Greco-Roman Mythological items that can be used during battle. For example, Medusa's head, the golden fleece, etc. These items may find their way into the Campaigns of Glory expansion.

I will donate GG for worthy responses.

Thanks in Advance,

Peter

Here you go:

The Club of Heracles
The hero fashioned his famous club in the valley of Nemea from the trunk of a wild olive tree.

The Bow of Heracles
The arrows were smeared with the deadly venom of the monster Hydra.

The Bow of Odysseus
Only Odysseus could string this mighty bow, and used it to slaughter all the suitors when he came back to Ithaca.

The Dragon's teeth
Jason used this artifact on his quest for the Golden Fleece. Once planted it would grow into fully armed warriors.

The Pelian Spear
Achilles spear was created by the god Hephaestus. The same god also maufactured an impenetrable shield for Achilles.

Apollo's Bow
This weapon could cause health or famine or death in sleep.

Poseidon's Trident
It could cause earthquakes when struck on the ground, also used by the god to create horses and water springs.

The Head of Medusa
After Perseus cut off the head of the gorgon Medusa, he used it to turn various enemies into stone.

Need more?

Edit: spelling, spelling

Thanks Daniel. Here's 5GG for your trouble.

I can keep this up until I run out of GG. laugh

Umm, I haven't checked these out yet, but I assume they are legitimate. They should be based on historical items and not just made up.

1 The Trojan Horse : hide an army in that

2 Jason's Shield : reflection can blind...well it did work on the Gorgon

3 Dionysus/Bacchus : get your enemies drunk laugh

4 Cupid's Arrows : make your enemies fall in love with an Amazonian man-eater

5 Cerebus: used as a guard dog to guard an important personage

Well, it would add a bit of humour

Regards
