Previously, this was the best we had in terms of box-packing guides.

And there's no need for tool boxes or tackle boxes, or any of the expansion boxes...

I'm sure a lot of sensible board game geeks here have also worked this out or something similar, but this is a demonstration of how we pack Descent in its one original box. This proves it can be done! (Admittedly we use a plastic sorting-box inside the box... a Raaco A5 if you must know... it's very useful!)

Enjoy.

(note re: Campaign storage - When we're doing a campaign, the 4 heroes involved go in the plastic box on top, as do their hero cards, and the avatar's card. Hero treasures/skills/rumours/upgrades, and avatar cards that are in play, just get their own dividers in the card boxes. We keep the counters blu-tacked to the map. Everything else we just write down. Much nicer than keeping everything in those space-eating boxes I think.)

Although, as the last picture shows, the box doesn't actually close all the way. That's a big drawback to me.

fair play, the box doesn't quite close. i'd rather have one not-quite-closed box than several closed ones though!

(I think it could all fit in, fully closed, if there was no categorisation at all, i.e. no bagging no boxes... I'm not going to be posting any photos of that though.)
