Every day, both at home and at work, I click on http://www.thehungersite.com and the associated sites.

For the next few days, I'm not going to be able to do this reliably.

Could you do me a favour, and make sure they all get clicked a few times, and help feed the hungry, fund breast cancer exams for women who can't afford them, fund child health & literacy projects, save the rainforest, and fund animal rescue, for the low, low cost of displaying a few ads on your screen?

Thanks!

How about YOU dole out some 'tips' to any others, besides 'moi', if they were to participate on the matter? Yeah, I'll be getting back on this again also, as it were worthy for just doing such.

What a great concept! I've added it and clicked on the individual tabs through my web address and sent it forward to my girlfriend who also added it to her faves!

Thanks for the heads up. I was unaware of this.

I'm apparently not the first person to consider scripting a clicker:

Will someone please explain the business model to me?

If I remember correctly, at one time the owners of a webpage only made money off of visitors for ads that were followed and clicked-on aka click-throughs.

Has that changed? I believe that is still the case for some sites.

I did not believe it when I first heard of it, but evidently quite a few of you are convinced; so I am reconsidering.

I think they have sponsors who have signed up to donate based on the number of clicks they get, but I'm not 100% sure.

They definitely have pay-per-view sponsors, although I'm sure that if you click through & buy, more money goes to the charity.

I expect that sponsors are willing to pay a little more than the going rate for these ads, because of the charitable cause.
