So I did a rough count of the games 35 women have posted as their top 10 so far. Around 200 separate games listed (although I did bunch some of the games and travel editions together and a few other groupings like the various Runebound ed/exp)
So anyone want to make guesses as to the most popular games on the list so far?

Spoiler (click to reveal)
Agricola (12), Dominion (11), Puerto Rico (9), Power Grid (8), Stone Age (6), Arkham Horror (6) and all tied (5)-Alhambra, Arkadia, Caylus, Pandemic, Princes of Florence, Tigris and Euphrates

I suppose that's the difference between female "geeks" and wives and girlfriends of geeks. I too was surprised at this list. Caylus? really?

If more women gave Arkham Horror a go it would get even more ratings I know my wife likes it but she always looks at the rules and goes "huh?" especially when I want to play with all the expansions lol

I did a few lists on women-only ratings, heres a link to one of them, which has links to the other four lists:

Women Only Ratings: The Female BGG Top 25

This was nearly exactly 2 years ago, so I should probably run it again soonish. For example it pre-dates Agricola...

This would be surprising if it represented the majority of women. The majority of women do not care enough about games to spend time on the BGG. Here are my wife's favorite games:

Carcassonne
Ingenious
Say Anything
Hey That's My Fish!
I'm the Boss
Dominion
Pandemic
Can't Stop
Thebes
Ticket to Ride
Diamant

Yes we do! I greatly enjoy Caylus... even if it isn't a top 10 for me.
