Hi all,

Never played Epic but interested. Is it a practicle option? is there enough actually available? If so where is best place to go for models or army lists?

Do any other manufacturers make models that could be used??

Ta

Andy

I am not an expert but GW does sell their EPIC line for EPIC Armageddon. If you wanted to use different figures to represent GW armies, that's fine. Just base them the same way. I think they are 10mm figures. Maybe 6mm?

I believe there are other fan made rule sets, such as netEPIC.

The EA rules were available online at one time from GW's specialist site but I am not sure it is still available.

Rules are available at: http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/content/articleCategory.js...

Games workshop sells miniatures for Imperial Guard, Space Marines and Orks.

Forge World used to sell lots of cheap Epic stuff but have removed most of the items from the shop during a pending evaluation if they are to continue producing.

Alternative manufacturers are Exodus Wars, Dark Realm Miniatures among others. Do a google search on "6mm science fiction" or head over to TacCom http://www.tacticalwargames.net/forums/index.cgi for plenty of Epic discussion.

If you're patient, ebay can be a great source for a lot of the GW Epic minis.

As A_Denis says in this thread, you can get a "checklist" of sorts, and see what you might be able to find on ebay from GW here:
