The module rules for this game say:

Quote:

1.1e The Cornfield. This feature exists for historical reference only. It has no effect on play.

However, the Terrain Effects Chart on the map says: Cornfield P (prohibited) for all.

I tend to believe the map since the original designers were specific in not allowing movement into Cornfield hexes.

If you go to the MMP website and search the Gamers pages, you'll find the errata for this game. The Cornfield is not prohibited terrain - if I recall correctly, there are two Cornfield entries on the Terrain Effects Chart.

You are correct! There are two Cornfield entries on the TEC! (& you're correct that errata at MMP says "Cornfield no effect".)

Thanks!

Can anyone tell me where the Confederate 1st and 2nd HQ counters are? I see an example of one on Page 3 but there are none in the counter-mix?

The Confederates do not have a real Corps structure in this game,
thus no HQ's are needed. Jackson and Longstreet are special leaders
who can roll for initiative to issue divisions individual orders.
