I do not own the base game. Is it possible to purchase this and attach it to "Send in the Clowns?" I know it sounds crazy but is it possible?

You can attach it, but Mall Walkers doesn't come with any zombies, so you'd need at least a bag o' zombies to even attempt playing it.

The base game includes the basics you need to play any expansion, the base rules (available online) and the player pawns, and dice. You need the zombies from the base game (or as mentioned, more zombies from Bag'O...) for most expansions except Zombie Clowns (if you don't leave the Carnival). Otherwise, the other expansions are playable. I think this would be doing it the hard way, though. The base game isn't very expensive.
