Shouldn´t the Hasbro and Nova Games versions have distinctive database entries as those both are that different??

Not only the rules but also the material. The nova game edition had counters not miniatures...

Material doesn't matter for a split. If it's the same game, it's the same entry. A lot of card games change theme & title, but still have the same entry: the rules are unchanged. So for a split, the rules have to be significantly different.

You can always Submit a Correction, or, maybe better, contact Scott Reed (skelebone).
