It's very annoying when a poll on a forum thread causes left-right scrolling.

This is most likely for "matrix" style polls.

My suggestion, ditch the percentages for matrices. All you need is the raw number of votes for each grid point.

Here's an example showing the questions (which fit nicely on the page) followed by the same poll after you respond:


I suspect that it wouldn't be all that hard to eliminate the percentages and show only the stuff in parentheses (with the parentheses eliminated).
