Alien Frontiers is a game of resource management and planetary development for two to four players. Your task is to control the newly discovered world by utilizing orbital facilities and alien technology to build domed colonies in strategic locations on the planet surface.

The game board shows the planet, its moon, the factories and stations in orbit around the planet, and the solar system’s star. The dice each player was given at the start of the game represent the space ships in each player’s fleet. These space ships will be assigned to work in different areas of the planetary system in order to earn resources and equipment for the players to use in colonizing the planet. Each orbital facility has a limited number of docking ports and requirements to be met before a ship can make use of it. Once rolled and placed, your dice will stay in position until it is your turn again.

As the game advances, the first order of business is to increase your fleet by getting the resources to build more ships. The more ships you have, the more you can do on a single turn and the better your likelihood of rolling a useful combination. Then players will purchase colony tokens and place them on the planet to represent the amount of control they have over each region. The player with the most colonies in a region is able to use that region's special ability as long as they remain in control of the region.

The planet was once the home of an alien race and they left behind a wondrous artifact in orbit. Using your fleet to explore the artifact, you will discover amazing alien technologies that you can use over and over again to advance your cause.

Winning the game will require careful consideration as you assign your fleet to the gather resources and benefits, integrate the alien tech and territory bonuses into your expansion plans, and block your opponents from advancing their own plans. Do you have what it takes to conquer an alien frontier?
