Never having played the boardgame I have to ask, is there a good game here for more than 2 players? Seems like easy to split up the troopers but perhaps this changes game too much . would like to get 3-4 involved if possible.

We had four players last night. We had a couple of games of Cleanse and Burn - two players taking the marines, one player sort of being a "Gorman" and offering advice, and one genestealer player. It went so fast we rotated roles.

A "Fortress America" scenario might be fun. Fortress America has three invading armes that often fight each other during their battles with the defending forces of the U.S.

If you have extra Genestealer miniatures, several players could control a group of Genestealers that would fight each other during attacks on the Marines. The most Marine kills by one Genestealer brood would be the winning condition.

Perhaps the Genestealer players have one or several leaders (not necessarily one or more Broodlords) that keep the broods from fighting each other. If they are lost, the broods enter a frenzy and will attack anyone in proximity. Perhaps you could even write a rule for the chance within a brood a Genestealer will attack another brood member.

For a 4-5 player game in which all 10 Marines are in use it is fairly simple.

for a 4 player game. 2 players play the marines, one squad each. 2 players play the Genestealers. Divvy up the genestealers evenly between them as they get on board. If you get more than a divisible by 2 number then take turns or flip a coin.

For a 5 player game, same as with 4 for the Marines, but here you can either divvy the Genestealers between 3. Or have the 5th player handle the broodlord and its co-horts. Little more complex and takes some tinkering.

With a single terminator squad though it will take some work to divide. Id say the more experienced player should take the captain/leader. Unless he or she defers.

The game can be played with more than 2.

One player plays a double marine army
Another player plays a double Genestealer army
The third plays Chuck Norris.

Edit: Of course, the marines and genestealers cooperate. Otherwise it wouldn't be a match.
