Hello All,

I bought Attack! & Attack!Revised Deluxe expansion. I bought this thinking it would be a great 2 player "war" game. I had envisioned this as a next step from Axis & Allies/Memoir '44. I wanted to "up" the experience with my 12 year old nephew...

But I then saw the recommend players on BGG being 4 or 5. Ugh OH!

Are my assumptions correct? Is this a good 2 player game? What are you thoughts on Attack! being the next step from Memoir '44 or Axis & Allies?

I have not opened the boxes. So I could return the games.

- Eric

Use the Eastern Map and it should make a good two player game.

I am amazed. surprise

Attack ! I have both the basic game and the DeLux Exp. and I play solo as a 2player game and it works just fine.

Can you explain why you think it cannot be played as a 2player ? I would really be interested to know.

As with most war games, adaptability is the core and Attack ! is very easily adapted for a 2 player game.

Regards.

I never said it couldn't be played as 2 player. What i said was that it is tagged here on BGG as best with 4,5 players.

I was worried that it was labeled as 2 player, but did not play well with 2 players.
