A friend and I have been enjoying HP TCG heartily for the last few weeks. I'm now wondering how well this game would take to Magic-style drafting gameplay. Any advice or suggestions?

I've made up a drafting cube for my eight-year-old and myself, and it works nicely! Only have cards from the base set and Quidditch, though.

What is a drafting cube? How do you do it?

Thanks,

The way that I do it is not quite the same as traditional, but works well for younger kids. Make a large collection of cards with no more than three of any card. Each player draws 60 cards at random, then makes a 40 card deck from that, with choice of player character.

If you search the BGG forums for "drafting cube", you might find the more traditional methods discussed (in which sets of two cards are drafted from groups of six until one has 40 cards?).
