Having watched Project Runway this season I found myself again hating when people give themselves mispelled names. I mean, seriously, Qristal?

At least you're a warm month. I used to know a girl named January. Really!

I knew a kid in high school who signed his name as "Jeph" though that wasn't the real spelling. He's a heroin addict now.

I think that all right-thinking people in this country are sick and tired of being told that ordinary, decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am.

Wel, I always pictured the two worst case scenarios of naming a boy Gaylord in this day and age:

1. He starts pumping iron at age 6 and can take his old man in a fight by age 10. The boy will be in enough fights to accumulate 100,000 penalty minutes, and let's not even get into the roughing minors.

OR

2. At some point during his elementary school days he will open up the door to his parents' bedroom, holding a shotgun and screaming "This is for naming me Gaylord!"

Edward Edward Edwards
Rosebud Troutman (Imaging being saddled with that moniker?)
Cecilia Bitterpussy (I'm not kidding)
