It is, IMO--except for the scenario cards. They're fine, but not four-color and glossy like those in HoB.

I heard that the new edition would have a map without the halo. Is it true?

Yes, the maps do not have the halos on them, and they are mounted just like the ones in HOB. The counters are awesome with a gloss finish.

Oh Danggitt!

I bought Band of Heroes a year ago.. and I must have the old edition... non-glossy counters...etc.

Do I upgrade and but the 2nd edition or not? Anything else better apart from the glossy counters? Som,eone said there are a couple of extra scenarios.
