If you want to get a new feel of this game, trying a non-dogfight scenario can probably help - they give different aims to players than just shot down opponents and make for differenmt game sessions.

Recon or bombing mission can be played, for example. Take "Raid over Istriana" from the rulebook and feature a German Camel escorting a Ufag C.I (the recon plane/bomber) against a SPAD XIII and Collishaw's Sopwith Triplane. Use the promo card for the Ufag. Here how to move with the Ufag using a reduction of the B deck:

The Ufag fires at B/B: use A cards halving damages, rounding down.
All you may need is a target card. Use any blank card from Famous Aces, putting a red dot at the center. Or print thist one:

After that, other variated scenarios are downloadable here:

Besides the stuff above, you may need bomb cards. Print those:

Or draw similar ones.
For trench strafing missions you may need Trench cards. No image to print, but you can make them yourself. They are done this way:

Other scenarios can be found around. For example "Catch the Train": here the rules

and here the additional materials to print

All that for free. Then... additional boxes as Wings of War: Burning Drachens can help, if you liked the scenarios above.

Have fun!
