Not starting a BGG vs. CSW fight here but it's annoying to follow the issue on CSW interspersed with name-changing and miniatures posts.

Big news: Richard Berg has announced on CSW on Sep 22 a new GBoH project, Battles of the Dragon, the first of which will focus on the period of the Warring States through Han Dynasty, "roughly covering a millenium up thru 200 or so AD".

Richard Berg says it will probably use the Chariots of Fire rules, "as the chariot was 'king' much of this time, as was missile warfare ... but there is plenty of cavalry ... and the Chinese use of a variety of formations and battle plans."

He also says there is a PAX series game in the works that covers the Five Kingdoms, Ten Dynasties period. cool

That is great news! I was just thinking about how ancient China would be a great subject for GBoH. It seems like China is kind of under-represented in the world of wargames.
