Litko aero are offering (probably for a limited time) some engraved plastic Blip and other counters:

http://www.litkoaero.com/page/LAI/JIMSLAB

I've ordered from them before, and their work is excellent. My only complaint is that they use a method of postage which guarantees delays and import charges if youorder more than £18 worth of stuff from the UK. I get around that my making multiple small orders (and their postage is very reasonable).

I can attest to the quality of these. I actually had them make me a set of these exact counters for Gencon this year. Happy he has made these available to everyone.

Actually I think these look cooler. He also does Over Watch and Jammed as well. And in a variety of colors too!

Although I don't see a "Space Hulk" set . . .

They do look better, but opaque is so the SM players can't make out the GS number. I also bought overwatch counters and some of the flamer marker sets.

The translucent blips do look cooler, but they have the problem of not being able to conceal a number on the reverse side.

But hey, Litko has Ambush blips!

But what I do have are a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you… And I will beat you.

Oh Right!

$10.00 in Gas driving around to find a copy of SH 3ed ED
$100.00 cost of SH 3rd Ed
$100.00 had to buy two copies of 3rd ED
$32.00 to get cool looking duplicates of counters that came in game.

Priceless!!! shake

Brother Jim cool

PS use the money to get their flame counters, cheaper and better 3D visual effect!

Yep, think I'm in for flame counters and GS spawn coins. The opaque blips are expensive as hell and just don't have enough "bling" to warrant a purchase. Really like the transparent ones.. could easily get around the transparency by using a numbered sticker.

I was also considering use of the Fluorescent Green Blip Counters. Does anyone have suggestions on adding labels to the bottom sides of those counters?

The blip counters in Space Hulk 3E look great. I was thinking of making color copies of them and placing the copies on the bottom of the Litko Blip Counters.

Would copying of Space Hulk 3E blip counters to plastic sheet which is then attached to the Litko Blip Counters be a better option?

Dear Jim,

What style and size of Flame Counters did you order from Litko? I was thinking the Medium Amber Flame Counters would be the best size when placed next to Marine and Genestealer miniatures.

This post is off-topic. The Weather Effects Set from Litko, also in the Tokens section where the Space Hulk-type tokens are listed, would be great for the Formula D auto racing board game. Whenever the weather in the game changes, which affects each type of tire, the appropriate weather token is placed on the board.

The selection has now been expanded to include more stuff.

Double sided Overwatch/Jammed counters, a set of Command Points and some other stuff.

Yeah! I swear this game is going to cost me a fortune by the time I am done. And that is before I figure out how much the renewed addiction to board games and possible future purchases of 40K minis ends up costing.

Plastic is cool and all, but all you have to do to diminish the cheapness of cardboard is take a black marker to the edges. Ok, so they'll wear like cardboard, but at least it'll look more finished than raw cardboard.

Plus you get detailed graphics custom designed for the game, that meshes well with the entire aesthetic feel of it.

Hi how big are those counters. I am working on a travel version of space hulk. And the squares are 2cm by 2cm. Will they fit the squares section of my board.
