A bunch of nice, yet cheap (really cheap) dice, for liar's dice. I'd say, 25?

Thrift store. Many games have a lot of dice in em, especially a few yahtzee variants. You might even find an actual copy of Liars Dice.

Check your local dollar store for cheap - I've seen blister packs with various numbers of d6s for $1.

Check your local Goodwill; sometimes you can find a game that has lots of dice in it that you can use.

Or, educational supply stores:

http://www.eaieducation.com/531074.html = 144 dice for under $15.

Or sugar cubes and a magic marker.

We bought a dozen dice (various colors, but I think they had plain white too) at the dollar store for $1.00 this summer.

The thrift shops around here frequently have Sharp Shooters on the shelves, it comes with a ton of dice. I've never seen Liar's Dice at my thrifts, but it does show up in other places. Thrifting is hit and miss ... or a roll of the dice? groan.

One thing to note about the EAI education dice: you may be better off with the sugar cubes if you opt for the blank dice with stickers.

The sugar will be more cube shaped.

Wow, such a great idea. $15 for that many dice is great.

Also, I found this:

http://www.eaieducation.com/531346.html

150 polyhedral dice for $34? (25 of each d4,d6,d8,d10,d12,d20)

I'm also tempted to buy this:

http://www.eaieducation.com/530093.html

105 die on sale for $11.

That's 10 cents a dice!

I put a set together for around $5 from the Dollar Store. Two sets of heavy plastic cups - each set having four different colors plus three sets of multi-colored dice, 12 to a pack in pairs of matching colors.

The board can be printed out on cardstock and off you go.

Try Target or WalMart in the toy sections. They often have d6 in 5 packs for cheap.
