Well, i'm really interrested in this game and i'm wishing to buy it !

But when i look at the counters, i'm surprise to not see those USMC Light M2 Stuart tanks from the 1st Tk.Bn or M3 from the 2nd Tk.Bn ?

There is one counter "M5" but i think it went on Guadalcanal island in a few number and very lately. There were not engaged in this battle but on the Munda Point Campaign ...

So i wonder if this game is really accurate enough to buy it ... Am i wrong ?

Anyone can help ? ;)

I can't speak to the M2 and M3, but I can say that the M5 gets used only very sparingly. As to when it was engaged in the actual battles, this game covers several operations other than just the battle for Guadalcanal - it's 2 mapsheets contain fully 5 separate mapped areas

Hi Toku42,

Many thanks for replying

Finally, i found a copy of this game !

Maps and components are really very beautiful.

So i still think there is some "historicals bugs" in the scen...
1xM5(reduced) only appear in the scenario 5 "Gavutu-Tanambogo".
Historically, only 2 M3A1 were employed at Tanambogo.
The only combat employment of the M2A4 at Guadalcanal (1942) was with A Cie 1st Tk Bn.
In late 1943, M5 tanks saw actions in Cape Gloucester and Roi-Namur.

Bye
