One of my co-workers just ate two triple Whoppers, an order of onion rings and a 32-oz Coke for lunch.

That comes to: 3,370 calories

I stopped adding the fat, carbs and sodium up after the burgers. To add insult to injury, he's one of those perpetually skinny people too.

Nope, fully leaded original recipe Coke. And, no, it wasn't me. I've been trying to lose weight, not hasten my demise.

Well, at least it was a 32oz Coca-cola, that's only ~320 calories, Your co-worker could have upped the ante by having a Baskin-Robbins shake:

Knew a guy like that in college. Once I watched him gulp down 3 gorditas, 1 KFC fried chicken strip sandwich, potato wedges, mashed potatoes, biscuit and a large coke in one sitting. On another occasion, lunch called for a double cheese burger, french fries, 2 hot dogs, large clam chowder, large coke.

His meal plan typically ran out by the end of October, in which case he would use his 90-lb girlfriend's instead.

One day, he thought it would be funny to drink half a bottle of pink lemonade, then fill it to the brim with sugar packets. He enjoyed the result so much he oversugared his beverages from there on out. When he finally got in the mindset to lose weight, the only way he could stomach plain water was if he put a few packets of Sweet-n-Low in it.

Needless to say, he ballooned from 285 high school weight (we went to the same HS) to 435 at graduation 4 years later.

Well, sometimes these super skinny people only eat 1 meal a day. They usually skip breakfast or only have coffee and then eat a huge lunch. Then, they are usually so full that they don't eat dinner or just have booze.

I've known a couple of people like that. They wouldn't eat that much for every meal or even every day.

Yes, these are cheeseburgers where the bun has been replaced with a Krispy Kreme donut.

Glad you asked!
I've heard of that before, but it sounds and looks nasty. I don't want a sweet sugary taste with my bacon cheeseburger.

Got it in one. That's me. Or, the converse is small, healthy little snacks over the course of a day/evening, with no real "meal". I have many days where I probably don't even hit 1600 calories.

One of my friends consumed four big crunch sandwiches from KFC in a two hour period.

With fries and coleslaw. Twice.

I missed the apostrophe s after "girlfriend" when reading this. My first through was wow, 90 pounds won't keep him full for very long.
