In case you haven't heard, BGG will be in Essen this year. Specifically Hall 5, booth 22. Please stop by and introduce yourselves if you are lucky enough to be there.

Oh yeah - and rate some games using our GeekBuzz system.

Excellent news! I'll be there!

Will there be any chance I can talk you into creating a German-language version of BGG?

I applaud this!

I, however, will not be at Essen, so I must cheer you on from afar.

The plan of the hall is the one of last year. So no guarantee that the list of exhibitors and locations is the same this year.

We will have some gamer bags to sell, but mostly we want people to rate games with our system.

We also should have some copies of TBGGG.

Mea Culpa...missed that. Deleted my post as it is most likely in error.

Poor sods. Hall 5 is the worst hall to have a stand in, in my opinion. Dark, crowded, warm, and stale air. You have my sympathies. But I'll drop by to say hello.

Awesome - we were hoping it would be dark since we have a projector running.

I will definitely stop by to pester say hello to you.

Any chance I could buy a pack of Dominion Promo Cards at your booth? I introduced my brother to the game, and he's dying for a pack of the promo cards.

o.O I never noticed any significant temperature differences between the halls - and the most croweded is usually the one with the used games and the stand that is bent like an u-turn and sells games for cheap prices (feels like a traffic jam all the time)...

I really should have known (especially the strip of June 14th)...

Yes, I'm totally a geek for actually remembering that sort of thing. Happy now?

Immediately to your left, across the aisle, Galeria Kaufhof!! Lots of great bargain games, and one of the few stands to take plastic.

To your right, in the corner, the big games bus. That's a game club which brings an actual bus into the show.

And above you, Yu-Gi-Oh!!!

It's interesting to me. I've been going to the show for several years now, and I really never got the 'big' differences in the halls that some people mention. I know 10's one of the main halls, so I thought proximity to that would be a good thing. There's always a number of good boardgames to be had in five, so again, not a big deal. Perhaps I look at Essen differently than most...

As for what GeekBuzz is, you'll hafta come check it out!
