Why did the painter paint the wall for free? Because it was on the house.

We drew Assassin's Shadow for the final encounter with three players left alive (of the original four). As the rounds progressed, one player was killed. Then next round another player was killed, leaving only one player left alive. The problem is that the encounter card rules seemed to create a loop at that point as the final player would be continuously paralyzed (unable to attack) and would not be attacked by the creature. So how should we resolve the situation?

From the creator:

The final player has fallen prey to the Caverns, not with a kind death - but with an eternity of despair.

Hivemind and Spite deliver similar fates for those who find themselves alone in the dark.

Remember, "Without teamwork... you'll never survive."
