And here I always thought the point was to roll cheese down a hill. This looks like something Americans would do! shake

Now, what would be the point of rolling a cheese down a hill if you didn't set off in some form of pursuit? Stupid Yank!

Round our way we roll Americans down the hill. They have a tendency to bounce a lot on the way down.

It doesn't matter much as nobody ever chases after them anyway. We're still angry with them for eating all our cheese.

You have impeccable taste Amy.

I will be thinking of you the next time I enjoy a nice slice of cheese (and I have no intention of that sentence sounding as weird as I know it does).

It's fun, it's healthy, it's good exercise. The kids will just love it. And we put a little sand inside to make the experience more pleasant.

Well, on second thought, this might not be so bad...who knows, it might be a brie's...

Sometimes we just gotta cheddar inhibitions and go for it!

Something tells me though that the Swiss might cream us, and that would be spread all over the country, and that would not be feta funny.

Whew, I'm so glad I got that out of my system.

Amy, do you have any of the upscale versions of the chains nearby: Signature Randalls, HEB Central Market or Kroger (can't remember the upscale name)?

All we have is HEB. Since their headquarters is in San Antonio, they ran everyone else out of business. But we do have an HEB Central Market, but they don't have Double Gloucester! And neither does Whole Foods! On occasion we can find some okay imported stuff from Super Target. I don't remember the brand name, but there was some really good imported Double Gloucester at the Ingel's we shopped at in Knoxville.

Okay, they've got Boar's Head Double Gloucester, which isn't even the right texture and tastes like a mild cheddar. If I wanted mild cheddar (and why would I want that?), I'd have bought it.

Maybe it's good for rolling down a hill?

Oh it's the cheese rolling. Phew. I thought you'd found out about the bog snorkling or the gurning contests.

Oh and Amy? "Stupid Brits" is an oxymoron tautology pleonasm.

That's it Jon - you distract them with bog snorkling, and I'll cover up any evidence of dwile flonking or bat-and-trap...

See, I always thought the Gloucester cheese rolling was a race to see whose cheese made it down the hill first. As for these other events, I really did think you were making them all up! Next you'll be telling me that cricket is a real game!

I don't see him anywhere else in the video, except the passing-the-pot parts. Must be that whole secret identity thing...?

Holy dwyle flunking batman.
