Are game prices at Essen full retail, or are they marked down per internet pricing? I'm not sure which I'd expect and I can't seem to find an answer here. Help me out!

Many games sold by publishers at Spiel are at full retail price, although some publishers offer discounts and some have clearance prices on older games. Retailers also have a presence at Spiel, and the games are typically marked down from MSRP at those retailers, with the prices dropping bit by bit over the course of the fair as they'd prefer to make a tiny bit of profit instead of lugging games out of the convention center. That's your job!

P.S. Love your writing, man, especially Invisible Cities. Too bad that you're dead.

Depends on your currency too. only getting 1 Euro per pound now, compared to about 1.4 a couple of years ago, so expecting games to seem more expensive this year soblue

My games will be marked down a bit (probably 20-30% off Euro retail), like last year.

Cheers,

Jack

Usually, the discounts are in the range of internet prices or, at most, only a few euros higher than the latter. Some publishers sell their games for about 10% off the MSRP.

Nah, prices of continental products will be the same as always - but prices for overseas products will have dropped.

It's all about one's perspective, right?
