I see that one of the earliest comments about this game, from an Essen 2007 geeklist, mentioned playing the game 2-player at Essen. The game now says 3-5 players.

Is there a way to play with only 2? That might mean I'd get it to the table in the next couple of months.

Unfortunately no. In theory everything works fine with just 2 players, but the game experience is so much poorer that we feel 3 is the minimum.

But of course if you like to make a houserule let me know how it works out. I'd say limit the number of Law cards in deck to 2,2,1,1. So two lowest level, two second lowest level and then one and one. Or possibly even 2,1,1,1.

Why do you say the game experience is poorer with two than three? Is it the lack of card interaction?
