To summarize: there was a printing mistake, but there is an extra half-page sticker sheet of correct auxilia units.

I just received my Imperial Rome and Epic II games last night. I've just now finished the stickering process. One thing I noticed is that the green symbols on the purple Roman auxilia stickers don't have the white outline that normally differentiates them from the rest of the light units. The purple light units have very faint black outlines, but the purple auxilia have no outline at all.

Was this intentional? When teaching C&CA, I find the units that are most easily confused are auxilia and light infantry; the white outline on the unit symbol is the easiest way to differentiate their function.

There should have been a single small sheet of stickers in the box that had only Roman Auxilia units with the proper symbol.

Does that mean the others are wrong, or that most aren't normal Auxillia?

Ah! I forgot about that page. Back to the stickering table.

Notice that the replacement sheet even included extra stickers to "fix' the reference chart.

The mistake was spotted on the "press proof" (which is what those things are for) and they got the replacement sheets printed pronto. But had to open and insert every box to correct the problem...which is one factor among several why shipping was slower than some folks expected. Having 4 games going out the door at the same time was a big part of it, of course, but going the extra (10)miles to make the games as correct as possible on arrival took extra time and effort.

Kevin, I absolutely agree that GMT did the right thing by delaying shipment to make things right.

(Note: I wish they had put some text on the half page sticker sheet saying "use these corrected stickers rather than the ones found in the game box".)

Note that the scenarios inside the rulebook are also in error.

Hopefully, corrected ones will be available in pdf at least.

I started stickering today. Never seen so much purple. Ah, yes, it's Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Yeah, they came off just fine by sliding an exacto knife under the sticker. Just a pain to have to redo them all!

I missed it too. I just stickered over the stickers rather than removing the misprinted ones.

Where can we find the corrected scenarios?
Thanks.

Actually I sticked 2 complete units of Auxilia...at the end when I ran out of Violet blocks I understood where was the fault and I had to de-stick 32 blocks....(actually 28 ,I remain the wrong auxilia stickers on the 4 spare blocks)
