Here is the game record of the final of the World Quickplay Hnefatafl Championships 2008, held on the island of Fetlar, Shetland, United Kingdom on August 16, 2008. It was won by Wendy Suther­land of East Yorkshire, playing the defender (see article from the Shetland Times).

Notation is that used in the tafl applet on the website Tafl: An Obsession.

If you wish to play out the game on the applet on the site, set the board layout to "Trondheim II" and both the attacker and defender to "Human".
