This is a detailed listing of all of the official ASLSK scenarios published to date. The main listing shows where each scenario was published, and what mapboards are needed to play it. The chronology shows the historical progression of the scenarios, and may be helpful if you are looking for a scenario set in a particular time frame or theater. Players looking for a long-term challenge could even try playing through the entire chronology list in order!

All of this information is, of course, available elsewhere, on web sites like the ASL Scenario Archive, and in posts on other ASL forums. But I thought it might be helpful to have a thread here on BGG that could be quickly scanned by anyone with a scenario or mapboard question. I'll update this list as new scenarios are published by MMP, or as errors are found.

My favorites would be the only two ASLSK scenarios that I've actually played so far: S13 Priority Target (twice) and S21 Clash at Borisovka (once). Both of these were fun and challenging. But I prefer to play full ASL, so I'm unlikely to play an ASLSK scenario unless someone specifically requests it.

I've added notations to the main list to show which publications are out-of-print and which scenarios can be downloaded for free from MMP's web site. I would expect that S29 will become available as a download at some point in the future, now that Operations 52 has sold out.

Operations 47 is still shown as being available, but if it is indeed out-of-print then I would expect that S8 will also eventually become available as a download.

Ive played almost all of these and my favourites are:

SK1 : S1 retaking Vierville , Ive played this about 10 times and used it to teach 6 people ASLSK

SK2 : S14 88s at Zon played twice, once attacking and once defending, great tension with the 2 HIP guns

SK3 : S21 Clash at Borisovka , Ive played this maybe 8 times and its been a learning experience every time , and great fun too!

S23 Montys Gamble , played only once but it was a hoot advancing with the Germans against the HIP Paras in Arnhem

Im at a strange stage atthe moment, I like playing ASL, but I find that the SKs deliver 85% of the fun of full on ASL with what seems to be about 40% of the rules , Ive tried playing a few games over VASL ( sorry Jay) but unless I'm playing face to face , I prefer the SKs

I'm with you, Robert. I haven't played full ASL in a couple of years now and I think the SKs deliver very well.

My favourites are: S2 War of the Rats, S23 Monty's Gamble and the monster scenario: S26 Last Ally, Last Victory.

From the Rally Point: Keitel and Cox. Okay I know, it's not official.

War of the Rats is one of my favorite scenarios as well. I love trying to prevent the crossing of the road by the Germans.

It was also included in a Journal. Journal #7, I think.

Brian is correct: a copy of map "v" came with ASL Journal #7.

This Journal included scenario J106, "Marders Not Martyrs" which was originally designed for ASLSK #3. When the decision was made to not support Open Topped vehicles in the Starter Kit rules, the scenario was changed to use the full ASL rules and published in the Journal instead. But because it used Starter Kit map "v" – which many ASL players might not have – MMP decided to include a copy of the mapboard with the Journal.

These are the MMP in-house magazines, which have been changing its title: Operations, Operations Special, Special Ops. There can be other permutations in the future.

You can find them in multimanpublishing.com

Edit:spell.
