Hello, I was wondering if anyone has seen rules regarding shooting/casting from one room into another (with both rooms having been revealed and explored) if there is clear LOS.

I have not found any mention of it.

thanks in advance!

Since, once opened a portal remains open unless sealed by some event like the portcullis. As long as you have valid line of sight to a target then you can fire at it.

But as the game rules point out in at least 2 places. Splitting up is a very bad idea.

First off, if you drift too far from the member with the Lantern you die instantly.

Secondly if an encounter is called and the party is split between rooms then you draw a counter at random to see which room the encounter occurs. A lone character or 2-person group could end up mobbed easily.

Though I can see a player split off by evading an attack/pinning and ending up in an adjacent room.

WHITE DWARF #200 - GETTING A BREATH OF FRESH AIR

...Actually, in Warhammer Quest we don't go on about range
much at all, as the action is usually at quite close quarters.
However, the limitations in Warhammer Quest come down
to how far the warriors can see due to the light of the
lantern. The lantern illuminates the board section the
leader is on, plus any adjacent sections, giving a maximum
distance illuminated of around 20 squares. So, the
maximum range in Warhammer Quest is 20 squares - 20
inches in Warhammer.
