A support group that goes to cons and helps teach the game to other game owners would be awesome. Is there a Mgic Realm Guild on here? to say I need help learning this is a vast understatment.

Have you tried RealmSpeak? (http://magicrealm.dewkid.com/rspeak/realmspeak.htm) It's a computer game of the boardgame that will help you learn how to play.

In BGGcon, every year it is played and taught

I'll take Manhattan in a garbage bag. With Latin written on it that says "It's hard to give a shit these days"

You happen to have posted in the support group.

Go to the files section and sort it by thumb count, and you'll find a bunch of player aids, including Magic Realm in Plain English, probably the best place to start.

As my dear wife ways, you can use realmspeak to have a few practice games. The rules are quite accurate, and it's a good way to gain some experience.

And finally, you can ask your rules questions here. There's plenty of experienced players around that I'm sure can answer pretty much any question you can throw at them.

There is the RealmSpeak Guild here at BBG http://www.boardgamegeek.com/guild/353 and also hosted at Robin Warren's website http://magicrealm.dewkid.com/rspeak/realmspeak.htm

I've been trying to collect/compile what useful information I can on learning the game from various threads here at BGG and other websites and get it up on the WiKi http://homenowned.com/wiki-mr/pmwiki.php?n=Main.HomePage There is a pretty decent collection of support info out there, spread across several websites.

Hope this helps.

Magic Realm has a VERY active online community. As a matter of fact, there is a master tournament going on now to determine the player to end all players (ha!). Anyway, you can read about the mailing list for the MR community and subscribe at http://wolff.to/mr/.

I think we would all agree that getting a presence at gaming conventions could add some players to the mix as MR is best learned through another. The mailing list is a good second....
