Map has great colors and look; but
could use some area border lines to
help distinguish ranges, impassable borders, etc.

otherwise, Walt's chart is indispensable.

The game should be playable right out
of the box w/o constantly referring
to the rules. Besides clarifying the
borders and LOS on the map, how about:
1. Turn marker (showing Day/Night)
2. Victory Point track
3. Turn sequence
4. Combat reminders (i.e. hit values at range)

If these aren't on the map, how about a handy chart?

This is one of the few games I have considered framing for my game room. The look and feel of the map is very nice in my opinion. I see what you mean in a way about the borders, but if you look at where the lines meet, curves are, and where the buildings are it makes sense.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder I guess huh? :)
