Good news ;-)

A pdf-file version would be really helpful, though...

Thank you for this Vlaada! I especially appreciate the 'errata' tags that (seem to) indicate what the changes will be in the upcoming release.

Wonderful! Thank you. Any idea when we might see the rules for those "extra" tiles?

FAQ doesn't have the answer to the one question I really wanted to know.

What exactly are the 1st edition and 2nd edition printing differences and does it affect gameplay?

Thanks for the FAQ! But I do agree, please make a PDF version so we can keep a copy in the box. Rarely do we have a handy PC around when we play.

It's just a web page. Why can't you print the web page?

Yes, but it would be a massive waste of ink + hard to read.

Edit: I have created a PDF file and sent it to Vlaada. If he is ok with it, I will post it here for download and submit as a file.

Have you tried it? Good web pages have different style sheets for screen and printers. CGE's is obviously a good one, the print preview shows me black on white and a readable font.

I agree, it's nothing that anyone shouldn't be able to get around.

But PDF does have its extra uses, such as from top of mind:

- Does not require MS Word
- Can be sent to other devices (iPhone, Kindle)

There is nothing wrong with having it on a website; there is also nothing wrong with providing multiple options.

My printer doesn't support the animated avatars. Duh.

Vlaada:

One of the questions refers to a "dummy player." I recommend going back to the "non-player" nomenclature rather than "dummy player" since it clarifies things that happens to players don't happen to non-players. It also prevents people from assuming those rules only apply to me.

What are you talking about? I don't see any "animated avatars" in the Dungeon Lords FAQ. It is just text, there are no significant graphics at all. It seems just as easy to print the HTML as a PDF would be.

Someone please help David find his sense of humor. I think he left it somewhere.

Neither does a web page.

As can a web page.

I'm pretty sure if there was supposed to be some humor there then it's the author who accidentally left it out, not the reader who missed it.
