I've been casting about for the cheapest place to pick up some minis. In particuliar I'm looking for Road Kill, Crocadile games, Copplestone Adventure, and .45 minis. I'm not limited to those series, its just what I'm interested in right now.

things to consider:
-I live in Atlanta so overseas shipping would be a deal-killer
-Free shipping w/ $75-$100 purchase
-a good clearance section (I'm not picky but I *am* cheap)
-over all competetive prices
-I'm willing to buy larger lots if it brings down the pricepoint.

Anyone have a good suggestion on webstores?

I don't know what period are you looking for, but Black Tree Design have a reasonable catalogue of average miniatures for pretty low prices.

25-28 MM.
Currently shopping for Pulp, modern, and apocolypse minis but will be picking up some fantasy and SCi-Fi as well- epsecially if they are on clearance or are just plain dirt cheap.

I'll check out blacktree. Any other suggestions?

I have been extremely happy buying miniatures (and other stuff) from Miniature Market and The War Store.

Disposable Heroes from Pigames. They have a huge selection, dirt cheap and already painted!

I've checked them and they ARE cheap. Plus they look good. Are they good quality? Do longer parts (swords, spears) bend easily? Do they look good without painting?

I was considering buying them for a game but didn't feel like painting...

I like fact you can cast them yourself. I could definately see me making an army of skeletons...

So has anyone found some good clearance minis? I stumbled across a great site the other night with a good selection of clearance minis but forgot to book mark it.

Wow. I don't know from personal experience, but...wait, are these the guys who do "swarms" packs at retail shops? Yes, looks like it. Their minis are a bit boring, but I think they're okay for breakage. All white metal thin parts bend. If you don't like bending, snip off the offending part, drill a new hole (in the little guy's fist, etc) and insert piano wire. No figs look good without painting them. But you can get away with priming them and painting them one colour, then sealing with an ink wash and a sealer.

These are cheap but arent they all 25 mm? Like hobbits next to 28mm mini?

There are lot of 25mm cheap manufacturers but they will never mix with 28mm. So it will be either way. And 28mm is quite more popular/expensive.

I found the site that I had stumbled on before:

http://www.frpgames.com/cart.php?m=product_detail&p=41019&re...

It looks like their prices are competetive and they have lots of stuff discounted but don't offer free shipping like miniature market.

Also old Glory offers membership that pays for itself if you spend $125 or more. The only thing is that you'll be buying just from their line.

Tough choices...

Well, a few days later I'm able to answer my own question: they are GREAT! surprise

I knew they are cheap, but in addition combined shipping to EU is only a few euros, and they arrived very fast and well packed. These are the ones I ordered:

As I had hoped, a simple and quick dry-brush with Gold plus wash with Black gets an incredibly easy and good-looking result! I didn't feel like painting in detail... Thanks for pointing this shop out!!!

Do not buy from Black Tree Design- they produce more unhappy customers than miniatures these days.

Old Glory also produces Blue Moon Manufacturing and West Wind, which are good for pulp and eligible for the Old Glory Army discount. Use this Old Glory site instead of the other one:
http://oldglory25s.com

I'd also try Brigade Games:
http://www.brigadegames.com

They have lots of Pulp-y stuff.
