Re: Help me to reorder my wish list please
Space Alerts for me is #1 - most innovative game of the decade( or at least last decade)

next best Euro goes to automobile for some cutthroat Euro action. Or Steam for a more unforgiving affair( to be out of the game on turn 2 is aws cutthroat as it gets) Basically the same game.

Like Space Alert, anything by Vlaada chavtil is amazing. A more thematic game with a euroish feel. Lots of fun and laughs.

Cosmic encounter goes down a couple spaces because its not that serious of a game. Bunch of fun though. A beer and pretzels type of game.

Endeavor is also a pretty good Euro.

I cant really sat much about the rest.

First question - have you played all the games you bought last month yet?

Other relevant questions:
What games, mechanics do you like?
How many people do you normally play with?
Are you playing with gamers or newbies?

I think there can be a tendency to buy too many games too quickly - you then end up with quite a few games you don't really like.

Loyang. We're having lots of fun with that. And I suspect we will for quiet a while. A favorite.

For what it's worth, Caylus, Stone Age, and Le Havre are on my "next up" list.

Looking at your collection, I believe you need Pandemic. It will add a new flavor you'll love.

Pandemic is on his "bought last month" list.

you bought waay to many games last month. Slow down and enjoy each of the new games before you buy a new one. Or, pick up Miss Poutine.

Don't flatter yourself.

No, I'm not, but I noticed that, too. We must be looking at the same topics. So ... where are you looking next?

Wow wow

16 games times $50 (average) = about $800 in a single month

DO you want to be my Santa this year? Maybe you can help with my wishlist (I only need 4 games and that's it) laugh

I promise I will be a good boy

Just keep buying. You've got a great list and can't go wrong. The quetion is how many of them will you play in the next 3 months?

I'd say just the opposite. Take a breather and play the games that you already have so you can see what you like. None of the games are going anywhere and you can find a lot of good sales around if you take your time. (Agricola is easily found online and can be shipped to Montreal!)

On the Brink is fabulous, from what I've heard, but if you haven't played Pandemic much then I think it's pointless to add the expansions on yet. The original game is a lot of fun on its own. The expansion can be added when the original game starts to get a little dull and you want to mix it up a little.
