Can we please stop with this sillyness. I can't wait to play Sword of Staliigrad. Well, at least it isn't Sword of Stalipgrad.

The publisher have used the same typographical 'trick' as Avalon Hill did with "Kremlin" - and most likely many publishers before that: to create a more flashy title by using fake cyrilic letters.

By using the mirrored 'N' they are in fact writing an 'I' - according to the OP.
But since the other letters are clearly latin and not cyrillic, is this a just showing how silly the OP are.

Next time he will object to a poster with cross or a sword for a 'T' or a ring for an 'O' or something just as silly.

The cyrilic letter DOW used to replace the "N" in Stalingrad translates into an "I" in latin script. I am a bit annoyed by the repeated wrong use of cyrilic script in games / books / movie-titles as well.

Of course not. That's a different thing. But I would (and do) complain when "ö" and "ä" is used as "o" and "a" to make text look germanic/nordic.
