Post you high scores here.

My high score... drum roll please...

19+0!!!

edit: I got that score in a 2 player game. Please include the number of players you were playing with in your high score so that we can do a little research.

Just a hint: You can't compare the high scores so easily, if you play the games with different numbers of players. For example you can make more points in a 2-player game than in a 4-player game, because it's a little bit easier to get more common fields.
On the other hand you can get more points in a 3-player game, because you have 2 opponents where you can use your helpers on.
In a 1-player game the scores are lower, because you usually don't get your cards for free in the card phase.

My hiscores, if I recall them right (I don't write them down), are
- 1-player: 18 +9
- 2-player: 19 +2
- 3-player: 19 +11
- 4-player: 19 and something, don't know exactly, but less than 10.

But I know from some postings here, that there were several better scores than mine.

3 Player: 19+1
4 Player: 19+1

I just can't seem to get past that +1 when I get to 19.

That seems to balance out the fact that you are only playing by yourself. So, isn't it more balanced than you might think? Forgive me if I'm wrong.

Best score was 20+13 gold in a four player game. The reason was mostly due to an inexperienced player to my right throwing away cards that were perfect for me. Everything just worked out prefect. Then with experienced players it was 19+14 with four players. This is an awesome game.

Got a new best score this morning: 18 and $6. (1 player). The thing is though, I didn't even go up a level on the first turn, I did buy an extra field and sowed both of them.

My wife scored 19 + 16 in a 2-player game last night! I ended up with 18 + 6 which was also a score to be proud of, but hers was just awesome....

She was able to take 3 regular customers needing turnips in the second courtyard phase with the help of the Squire. Combine that with a turnip home field and it was a beautiful thing to behold...

Third game ever (four players)

20 and 7!

Wow!

I ended the game with no cards except for two fields. Everything else was used up!

What were your opponents doing? Giving you free cards? I guess letting you have the cards you want is the same thing, huh?

I ended up with a bunch of fields. At one point I think I had 7-8 fields out. I had a hard time getting regular and casual customers so I kept using helpers to steal others people stuff.

I'd check for rules errors. That's one of the highest scores ever recorded, while you're still in learning the game mode.

I pickup on things fast and this type of game is just how my brain thinks. I was playing with two newbies (first game) and I struggled the first few turns as I heavily invested into fields. There was at least two turns where I didn't move up on the prosperity track but there was one turn where I was able to harvest about 11 veggies and turned it into 40-50 cash! Not bad

You got 20+ with missing 2 of the 9 "freebies"? Now I'd really check for errors.

(semi-joking, but that seems really unlikely).

Pick over the rules, and read them CAREFULLY. But if you really did that, that is, like, awesome.

Okay,

I have to agree with Steven on this one. If you have only played 4 games and 2 of them had scores of 20 or higher, you really need to re-check the rules. I would love to be a fly on the wall of one of these games.

I can't even imagine getting to 21 +6. It was a feat for me to get to 19 +17 and that was with bonus payments because of the trader in round 9.

Wait, what? 11 Vegetables into 40-50 cash? There are only a few scenarios that I could imagine that as even a possibility. That would mean that each vegetable is worth roughly 4.5 coins and that just doesn't sit right with even a good round. It's possible it could be a simple oversight of one rule such as only delivering to regular customers once per round, or only being allowed 1 Two-Pack per round regardless of whether you are using the Official or not, or that the "2nd" card in a Two-Pack need to be placed under the "1st" (active) if both are kept.

Though, on the upside, it does sound as if you are enjoying the game, and that is an important factor in playing anything.

Have fun!
