Huh? Oh,"nanDECK is a software for Windows (any version) written as an aid for game inventors, with the aim of speeding up the process of designing and printing deck of cards (useful during prototyping and playtesting)."

"This program uses a script for the creation of the cards, and you can add text, images and some graphics (lines, rectangles and ellipses)."

Highly recommended! Thank you very much for your work on this!

Here is an example of what you can quickly whip together:

Any chance we have UTF8 support?

I try to use some text files as CVS linking to make some cards, and I don't have any problem with the English ones, but the Spanish gets all messed with the weird characters like ñÑ á ó í é ú and so

I finally convert the UTF8 text files to ISO8859-15 and it works but it tooks out some commas and I have to redo the file manually.

It is a great software, highly recommended.

Thanks As you discovered yourself, the format for data files (and script files) is ISO8859-15 / Codepage 1252.

For Unicode support, maybe in the future. It's not really hard, but it time-consuming, because I've to check every string-based function of nanDECK.

By the way, there are two commands that are already Unicode-enabled (or, at least, I hope so): RTFTEXT and HTMLTEXT. An example, with an arabic letter ب:

RTFTEXT=1,"{\rtf \u1576?\par}",1,1,4,2,#FFFFFF,0
HTMLTEXT=1,"< p>&# 1576;< /p>",1,4,4,2,#FFFFFF,0

P.S.: Hum, how can I write HTML source in these posts? Remove all the spaces from the second line if you want to test it with nanDECK.
