Here some previews of WWI and WW2 miniatures, plus Balloon Busters, on the site Gioconomicon.net:

http://gioconomicon.net/modules.php?name=coppermine&file=thu...

From Gamesorbit.de

http://forum.gamesorbit.de/index.php?topic=6546.0

I also get the link to these photos:

http://fotoalbum.web.de/gast/kraenzle/100204_SPIELWARENMESSE...

Next WWI and WW2 miniatures are shown individually there.

All the best,

Andrea

they look great and I can't wait to get my set. I won't ask when that will be though...

a couple other questions anyway:

- the balloons look like they have a single big peg, or maybe it's a big peg stuck into a single smaller peg? how many pegs are there, and will the balloons be able to show different altitudes by adding/subtracting pegs?

- the wave IV planes look a little glossy. is that just the lighting?

glad to see that one of the se5a's and one of the pfalz's have much more colorful paint schemes than their peers. would be nice if they all could be more colorful, but darn that historical realism thing.

The balloons have a larger peg needed because of their shape, and some standard one - so they will be used to indicate altitude in the normal way.

The Se5a were all preetty dull, but all the three Pfalz have something colorful - yellow stripes, red stripes or a comet on black/white stripes - I hope you will like them!

The glossy finish is typical of our prototypes, the production planes are usualy matt.

That was not what I was thinking, I was asking if there were scenarios included in the box with the balloons.

Now that you mention it though...a Scenario Book published like Fantasy Flight's Descent Quest Compendium; or their Tide of Iron Scenario book would be something I would be very interested in purchasing. The "pick a plane(s) line up and start flying" games, though fun do get a little repetitious at times.

Some official published scenarios would really be an awesome addition to this game. Scenarios with a range of planes that could be used, but specific objectives.

Peace

A WW2 campaign book would require a lot more of the same planes, since no air force used different kind of planes in the same squadron - so I believe, but I could be wrong.
But it's hard to think of a scenario with a German 109, a Japanese Zero and a US Wildcat. But a scenario with two 109s against a Wildcat might work.

There are scenarios within the rulebook in the box.

A compendium has been considered, but it is not one of the short-term projects.

The Squadron packs for WW2, replacing WW1 Booster packs, are designed exaclty to allow players to fly squadrons of the same type.
