I'm going to be starting up a game store next year and am trying to come up with a name for it.

It's going to be half boardgames and half computer games - no videogames.
There will be several computers networked together so people can come in and play computer games together for free. I'm going to eventually mod these computer stations up so that they look like cars or spaceships depending on the game they're playing for an immersive gaming experience.

Then there will be tables on the other side for people to play boardgames, and there will be a snack bar, as well.

Any ideas?
Thanks!

I don't really have a recommendation for the store name but I would recommend making sure that you can pick up the domain name version of it as well before you settle on one.

I think, the name that you choose should really reflect the customer you are trying to attract. If you are going for hardcore gamers, a geeky name is probably acceptable, but to attract your average joe or families, a different type of name is probably more appropriate. Just something to keep in mind.

This might sound stupid, but if you want people who are driving by to know what you're about just by looking at your store name:

I mentioned "Bytes and Dice" to two people and they both said, "What? Bikes and Dykes?!" So after careful consideration, I think that may draw the wrong crowd. Word of mouth may spread the wrong information in this case, if you know what I mean.
Thanks, anyway!

Reminds me of a game store that used to be around here: Game Masters, when said fast it sounded like "Gay Masters", especially over the phone.

Here are some ideas other people have suggested so far:

Playing Games
Leisure Time Games
The Game Vault
Avalanche of Games
Alternate Reality
The Arena
The Game Cave

I kinda like the Game Cave, I could use this theme throughout the store.
Alternate Reality is also interesting, even though it doesn't tell you what kind of store it is by just the title - it would need a tag line.

I also like The Game Dame.
For a logo I could use a woman holding a meeple or something like that.

I would avoid the word "reality" I once worked at a store called Psychic Reality (new age gift store), and people came in all the time thinking it said "Psychic Realty."

How about "Bits 'n' Chits". Also could be bad if said too fast, but I had to throw it out there.

If they misunderstood Game Masters for Gay Masters, the Game Cave sounds even worse...

I was thinking of Games Buffet but it definitely sounds gay.

Good luck and give us a shout with the final one!
