REGICIDE

I wanted to try my hand at this modding business. Since there's enough "basic" games out there, I thought I'd give this a shot. I've had the idea for about a month now, and I think I've refined it enough.

An Assassin has broken into the King's palace and is set on killing the King. It's up to the King and his subjects to outsmart the Assassin.

GAME INFO:

Lynch at 3:00 pm.
Night actions due at 4:00 pm.

This game will not run over the weekend.

This game can run on as little as eight players, or as many as twelve, possibly more.

This game is slightly different from your basic werewolf - see victory conditions.

This game will start when full.

ROLES:

TEAM GOOD:

The King ("Objective" Role)
The King is the main focus of the game, and if he is killed, the game is lost (for good). The Lord General must die before the King can be killed. If the King is selected to be the night kill target or the lynch target while the Lord General is still alive, there is no kill.

The Lord General ("Objective" Role)
The Lord General is the King’s most loyal subject. He tries to stay alive and acts as a lifeline to the King.

The Royal Guard (Martyr Role)
The Royal Guard chooses a player to protect each night. He acts as a martyr and dies in their place if the person he selected is targeted for the night kill.

The Prophet (Seer Role)
The Prophet views for the Assassin and the Imposter each night. He is given a random, negative N0 view.

Nobles (1-5) (Villager Role)
Nobles present in the palace. Some will have special attributes, e.g., tough, brutal, etc., and some will not.

*

TEAM EVIL:

The Assassin ("Objective"/Wolf Role)
The Assassin gives orders for the night kill each night. If he is killed, evil loses. The Imposter must die before the assassin can be killed. If the Assassin is selected to be the lynch target while the Imposter is still alive, there is no kill. Shares a chat with the Imposter.

The Imposter ("Objective"/Wolf Role)
The Imposter is a disguised noble who wants the Assassin to kill the King. He tries to stay alive and acts as a lifeline for the Assassin. Shares a chat with the Assassin.

The Medium (Sorceror Role)
The Medium is the Assassin’s ally and views for the King and the Lord General each night. He is given a random, negative N0 view. The Medium does not know the Assassin. If the game comes down to parity stages, the Medium does not count for evil parity.

VICTORY CONDITIONS:

TEAM EVIL wins by killing the King.
TEAM GOOD wins by killing the Assassin.

THINGS TO BEAR IN MIND:
This is my first modding attempt. This game is a little different, but I think I've got the hang of it. In the unlikely event that I do screw up, just point out what went wrong and I'll do my best to rectify the mistake.
There will be no conversion.
There will be no vote manipulation.
There will be no tinkers.
There will be no strange victory conditions.
There will be no hidden abilities, except for the attributes some nobles will have.
If sign-ups are not so hot after reaching eleven-ish players, the game will start.

If you have any questions, please ask. That is all, thank you!

Only the assassin and the imposter, so far. As I said, they will share a chat. If by common chats, you mean location chats, then I haven't thought to include any yet, but I may do so.

Cool. If we can get two more in by Monday we should be able to get this show on the road. Obviously I'd prefer more, but eight is enough.

Sorry, I shouldn't have signed up - next week for me is going to be too hectic to play werewolf.

However, this ruleset sort of demands that the full compliment of players be present at least 11 I think.. if not 13 preferably.

Ah. Indeed, that crossed my mind, but I couldn't put my finger on a specific number. If 11 is what I can get, it would be good.
