We originally released Jamzu on the PC in 1998, and it was included in the "Top 10 Great Board Games Vol. 2" compilation later released by Global Star Software.
"Race your runners across the board and block you opponent with the jammers. The jammers are both your allies and your enemies. Your advantage may turn against you at any time, but then you can counterattack right back!
Jamzu is an original game of skill and chance, full of quick changes and fast-moving strategy. It is easy to learn and fun to play. Match wits against the computer on four difficulty levels, or play against your friends on the same device or over a local Wi-Fi network."
We are currently running a big contest over on Touch Arcade. You can submit a list of best possible moves for seven different Jamzu positions for a chance to win one of two $50 iTunes Gift Certificates. 35 promo codes are also being given away.
For a future release of Jamzu, we will be holding a similar contest here on BoardGameGeek.
------------- Promo code giveaway on BGG I would also like to give away up to five promo codes for anyone here on BoardGameGeek. Please simply post a request for a code in this thread, and I will send via PM. The first five requests will get codes.
Here is a Jamzu demo video, and a couple of Jamzu screenshots:
Thanks for your interest, and I'll contact you via PM about codes for Jamzu. I'm not sure how this thread ended up in Press Releases, but the original thread that I started back in Feb, in the General Gaming forum, may have violated BGG policies on marketing, so maybe a mod moved the thread here because of that. I certainly don't want to be running afoul of the BGG posting policies.
