the Olympics among other things. Watching the Parade of Nations at the beginning I judge every country on their position in Twilight Struggle. Chile? Argh, Allende. Hate them. Colombia? Someone's going to coup it, no wonder they have a small delegation. Italy? Completely unreliable when the world's at peace. Oh of course, here comes Pakistan, those untrustworthy so and sos!

*sigh*

Wait, the Olympics are happening? Why didn't you just take the 2 ops?

I didn't play the card, so I don't get to choose. It also turns out it's better to risk the VP loss watching the Olympics at home on Valentines Day weekend than to damage the domestic defcon by gaming with friends instead of attending, thereby giving my wife 4 free ops.

If I gave out a monthly trophy for overextending analogies while maintaining their integrity, yours would be in the mail.
