No idea. I'm used to the "penny sleeves" which are really thin, and the ticker ones (like the Mayday Games "125% thicker" ones). No idea how many microns this is.

I'm pretty sure FFG sleeves are 100 microns, and I love them.

I know what sleeves I've used and what I like, but I don't know their thickness in microns. Assuming the poll answers are representative of what's on the market, I can guess that certain ones are either 40 or 50, and others are either 90 or 100, but that's it.

Some examples for each would be useful.

I suppose that if I were a millionaire I would sleeves all my cards with the FFG sleeves... they are really thick and really nice. BUt not having enough cash to blow on sleeves that sell for $3+ for 50, I'm quite happy with the penny sleeves I get from Korea. They're thin, fit nice and snug, and are cheap. I get the occasional busted sleeves, but it just takes a couple seconds to fix.

It sounds like you already have a solution, but you don't need to be a millionaire; just sleeve the games where the cards get a lot of heavy use, like Glory to Rome, Dominion and Race for the Galaxy. Games you rarely play don't need sleeves.

40 microns - Mayday Games
50 microns - TBG
90 microns - Mayday Games Premium sleeves
100 microns - FFG, and possibly KMC, Dragon Shield, Ultra Pro Deck Protectors

I've revised the poll to include Arcane Tinmen's 80 micron sleeves.
