So, I just came off my first con in 20 years. But I could only attend Friday and Monday. At my work, getting any weekend off is tough, and holiday weekends about impossible. And Strategicon is on three holiday weekends.

So -- what regular cons are within about 300-400 miles of LA that aren't on holiday weekends?

Not sure how big they are, but here are two I can think of.

Vegas Conquest
Polycon in SLO

Socal Gamesday's are 1 day events, roughly every quarter.

I think Strategicon is just it for the LA/OC area. If you can't do weekends, you won't find any regional Con that is not on a weekend.

I can ocassionally get weekends. It's holiday weekends that are the problem.
