Are they mixing all the special buildings together OR are they just using the new ones and selecting from there?

Thx

Tried it solo with just the new ones, but I assume that I will mix it in with the whole bunch next time.

First play this evening. We used only LGH special buildings. After I get to know the deck I might mix them.

I was thinking of doing a 3:3 when we play to incorporate the new cards slowly.

I use a 3:3 ratio when I incorporate oil and vinegar.

Maybe I'm just bad at math but 3:3? Isn't that the same as 1:1? Or do you mean something like 1/3 from each of the three special card sets to date? (Base Game, Promo Cards, and Le Grand Hameau)

You just peaked my curiosity when I couldn't figure out what you meant.

I played once with the new deck only, then mixed them in with my other Special Buildings. I have peeked at the dealt Special Buildings to ensure that at least one or two LGH cards got into play, which is easy to do with the distinctive face. I recommend hiding the cards when you use the Marketplace, otherwise it's easy to tell if they are LGH buildings or not (light passes through the original cards much more readily). If I know LGH cards are coming, I go to the Marketplace to see what they are, because they can be game-changing.

BTW, by 3:3 he was saying that deals three LGH cards and three original cards to make up the 6 dealt at the beginning of the game. (...and your curiosity was "piqued.")

Thanks for the insight and correction Dan, I just got my LGH deck and am looking forward to it hitting the game table soon.

And if you never have, you should. These things are fun and fun is good.

We played with 6 of the Le Grand Hameau buildings last night and enjoyed it. Perhaps 3 of each would be cool but whatever. The game is growing on me.
