Hey geeks and geekettes. I know this game is just starting to get some real growth, and I've become slightly obsessed with it myself - I'd like to continue to see the growth...grow.

That being said, I've decided to devout my article space on the eye of the Vortex (http://www.eyeofthevortexonline.com) online gaming magazine to creating a home for new and experienced Warhammer: Invasion players alike. I wanted to create a a place where players could link their friends to learn more about the game and its many factions and strategies.

To that end, my first Warhammer article for the site - an introduction to the Core Set - can be found here: http://www.eyeofthevortexonline.com/articles/article138.php

I now just started writing a series of six articles to review each faction's general strengths, strategies, and fluff as they are through the release of Tooth & Claw. The first one, looking at the Dwarves, can be found here: http://www.eyeofthevortexonline.com/articles/article155.php

We will continue to publish articles on a regular basis now to get the other factions covered which should then flow into monthly articles on new Battle Pack expansions as well as general deck and combo ideas. I've been playing FFG LCG's long before they were LCG's and even before there were plural card games out there from FFG. I want to see this great game succeed. It may never be magic-level popular, but there's no reason it can't be sustained with a healthy fanbase. I posted this on the FFG forums as well, and I truly believe a card game's health can be measured by its popularity on unofficial websites including the gaming press. To that end, we've also devoted space on our own forums specifically to the discussion of Warhammer: Invasion. Please feel free to check this all out here: http://www.eyeofthevortexonline.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=4... You'll notice that the forums are a little meager right now, but that's because we only started today, so now's the time to get in on the groundfloor!

Anyway, enough jibberjabba from me, just check the links out already!

Looks like it might be pretty cool.

I might suggest you work on the organization and user interface though. I could barely tell what was going on there. And finding anything that I actually cared about was... Well, worse than this place which is pretty bad already.

Looks like there is probably a lot of good information there but in it's current form I don't think I'll care to actually look for it. It's a very jarring site to look at with the white on dark and a giant list of stuff I don't care about with no real obvious way to get to where I want to be.

The forums have the opposite problem, visually. Dark on dark. No good.

Merc should be merch so I know you're trying to sell me something.

Sorry to sound like a jerk but this is really a very poorly designed website and it actively discourages people from sticking around. It's very opaque in terms of where I am able to go and lacking defining reasons as to why I should stick around to find out.
